Desann is a primary antagonist from the video game Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast (2002).
He was a Force-sensitive human male who fell to the dark side. Trained at Luke Skywalker's Jedi Academy, Desann grew arrogant and impatient, leading him to the Valley of the Jedi on Ruusan where he sought to steal its power for himself.
He developed a method to imbue his followers, including himself, with Force abilities using the Reborn project. He led an invasion of the planet Artus Prime in an attempt to kill Jedi Master Luke Skywalker and seize control of the Force.
Desann was ultimately defeated in a lightsaber duel by Kyle Katarn at the Valley of the Jedi. The character is notable for his considerable Force powers and imposing presence.
